2026 Porsche 911 vs 2025 Porsche 911

Serving Vienna, VA

The Porsche 911 is the ultimate sports car, delivering iconic styling and an exhilarating performance. In 2026, the model's Carrera trim levels receive notable improvements. What are the important differences between the 2025 Porsche 911 and the 2026 version?

Performance

All-wheel drive returns to the Carrera 4S for the first time in several years. This is offered with the Targa, convertible, and coupe body styles. If you select the rear-wheel version of the 2026 Carrera 4S, your sports car will have a twin-turbo, flat-six engine that produces 473 horsepower. This is exclusively available with an eight-speed, dual-clutch auto transmission. In addition, the Carrera 4S is now offered with a Traction Management System. It includes an electromagnetically controlled clutch and a water-cooled front differential. Otherwise, the performance capabilities of the Porsche 911 are comparable for the 2025 and 2026 model years.

Appearance

The Porsche 911 is easy to spot on the road with its engaging style. It sports a swooping, tapered hood that flows confidently toward the rounded front end. The large grille wraps around the nose, highlighting the model's low ground clearance. The model's headlights are circular and feature innovative LED lines on both sides. The 911 is also defined by a dramatically rolling roof and smoothly defined sides. While both front and rear fenders are well-defined, the back haunches have a powerful, sculpted quality. Depending on the trim selected, the 911 is offered with anti-roll bars, a rear spoiler, a carbon fiber hood, and other enhancements.

Features

Numerous standard and optional features are offered across the 911 lineup for both years. Some of these features are a 12-speaker Bose sound system, quilted leather upholstery, sport seats, a power-adjustable steering wheel, an integrated navigation system, a 10.9-inch infotainment system screen, forward collision mitigation, a wireless device charging station, wireless smartphone app integration, a heated steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, a driver attention warning system, a two-seat configuration and other exceptional features.
