4 Reasons Drivers Love the 2025 Porsche 718

Bringing race car performance to the roads of today, the Porsche 718 lineup provides a great combination of interior luxuries and outstanding driving experience.

With exciting new electric versions releasing this year, the 2025 Porsche 718 models, including the Cayman and Boxster, are the last gas-powered versions in this series you can purchase.

4 Reasons To Love the 2025 Porsche 718

1. Sleek Sporty Exterior

The Porsche 718 models include the Cayman hardtop coupe with a mid-engine flyline and the Boxster and Spyder RS convertible body design. Base trims also come standard with 18-inch silver alloy wheels in a five-spoke design, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a sport exhaust system featuring a central oval brushed stainless steel tailpipe. For added flair and to assist with night or rainy driving, there are also the Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche dynamic light system (PDLS) and grey top tinted windshields.

2. Agile and Exhilarating Performance

For top driving performance, the Porsche 718 base models have 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer 4 mid-engines with a low and central center of gravity, power steering capabilities, and the 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) that allows for fast gear changes without interrupting traction. Reducing lift for better traction, the rear wing also automatically extends from speeds of 78 mph.

For even greater performance, you can add the optional Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) that lowers the body by 10mm or the Sport Chrono Package with mode switches. The PASM sport chassis is standard in the 718 GTS 4.0 trims and lowers the body by 20mm to accompany a 4.0-liter, 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engine for an even larger performance spectrum.

3. Luxury Interior Comforts

The base trims of the 718 lineup come standard with black or agate gray interiors, 2-way heated sport seats, and 2-zone automatic climate control with three climate setting profiles and separate controls for the driver and passenger. Driving is also made smoother with features such as auto-dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensors, cruise control, and ParkAssist, including reversing cameras. Optional features to upgrade the interior include leather trim packages, deviated stitching, colored seat belts, and sport seats plus backrest shells.

4. High-End Connectivity Options

The Porsche 718 base Cayman and Boxster trims come standard with Porsche Communication Management (PCM) which includes mobile phone preparation and audio interfaces. You also have access to the HomeLink programmable garage door opener, a sound system with 8 loudspeakers, and Apple CarPlay connecting to your iPhone. Every model has the option to add more features through the Porsche Connect Store, including Wi-Fi data packages and navigation and infotainment functions such as real-time traffic information, satellite maps, and the Gracenote song database.
